Preparing the computer
Operating system
The dedicated PC runs Linux (Ubuntu LTS). Install the basic tools:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gnuradio python3-pip python3-venv
python3 -m venv ~/argh && source ~/argh/bin/activate
pip install numpy scipy matplotlib astropy jupyterCheck
Connect the SDR via USB and check that the system recognises it with lsusb.
